Belgium crushed New Zealand 5-1 to secure their place in the World Cup knockout stages. In a must-win match for both teams, the Belgians took the lead in the 28th minute through Trosard, ending the first half.
In the second, Rudi Garcia's team scored 4 goals, with Trosard, De Bryjne, Lukaku and Salemakers. New Zealand scored the consolation goal in the 84th minute and ends its World Cup journey by finishing in 4th place in Group G.
While Belgium advances as the first of the group and will face a third-place team in the 1/3 finals on Wednesday at 21:00 PM.
