Actor Ben Affleck is expected to transfer his share of the luxury Beverly Hills mansion to his ex-wife, Jennifer Lopez, without any financial compensation, according to recent media reports.
The decision comes after the former couple's property division agreement was amended, which includes a clause for "transfer of property between spouses." Sources close to them indicate that Affleck has chosen to transfer his entire share to the Latin singer and actress.
The couple purchased the sprawling mansion in June 2023 for an estimated $60.85 million, at the height of their relationship. The 3,500-square-foot property includes 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, and even a basketball court, making it one of the most luxurious villas in the area.
Their divorce was finalized in January 2025, while the fate of the mansion remained unclear for some time. Last summer, the two decided to take the property off the market in a joint business decision after failing to secure a satisfactory offer.
Real estate experts stressed that the market for properties of this value is difficult, making it reasonable to hold off on selling until conditions improve.
With the latest development, it appears that the residence will now be fully owned by Lopez, who recently said she feels "free" and in a new phase of her life, two years after her split from Affleck.
