The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in a communication with the media, stated that Rama's approval of the fiscal amnesty was illegal and that internationals were also against this issue.
He said that Rama replaced standards with corrupt lobbying.
"Finally, I want to denounce with great force the replacement of standards with corrupt lobbying. This has been a destructive factor for Albania and Albanians. We will focus on the developments of recent days. The Deputy Prime Minister is transforming the Council of Ministers into a law office, it has never happened in Europe, but it can only happen in authoritarian regimes. Edi Rama passed the fiscal amnesty, for which the internationals were unanimously against. Within a week, the EC has reacted twice to this amnesty, against it. The US administration has also reacted. But Edi Rama does not ask, because he has replaced standards with corrupt lobbying," he said.
