Brad Pitt has escalated his legal dispute with ex-wife Angelina Jolie by filing a motion seeking access to her private communications as the two continue to clash over ownership and agreements related to the French vineyard Château Miraval. According to court documents, Pitt is asking the court to compel Oliynik to appear as a witness. He is also asking Oliynik to turn over his text messages with Jolie, which the actor claims are directly related to the case.

The F1 star argues that efforts to resolve the matter with Oliynik have made no progress. In the lawsuit, Pitt alleges that Oliynik has refused to comply with the request, citing Swiss legal protections that foreign nationals cannot be forced to travel to California for legal proceedings.

However, Pitt's lawyers argue that the rule does not apply in this case. They are only asking for a remote deposition conducted in Oliynik's place of residence.

The legal dispute began after Jolie sold her share of Château Miraval, which she and Pitt originally bought together during their relationship. Pitt has disputed the sale, claiming Jolie decided to get back at him after their bitter split. He filed a lawsuit against her in 2022, claiming the sale was “retaliatory.”
