US President Donald Trump has posted a message to British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on his Truth Social account.
He said the UK was "finally seriously considering" sending two aircraft carriers to the Middle East, but Trump appears to have rejected the offer.
"We don't need them anymore," he wrote.
"We don't need people joining wars we've already won," Trump concluded his message.
