Lara Colturi continues to give good performances. The Albanian skier has closed the American weekend, the fourth stage of the 2025-2026 World Cup, with another podium place in the slalom and a 12th place in the giant slalom. The competition on Mount Koper in Colorado began on Saturday evening with the giant slalom competition. A not very positive day for Lara.

The Italian skier competing for Albania, in the first downhill, was ranked sixth, while in the second run she was classified in 19th place. Thus, with a total time of 2:00.82, Kolturi could not go higher than 12th place, with a difference of +1.91 from Australian Alice Robinson, winner of the giant slalom race. The podium was completed by Austrian Julia Scheib (+0.96) and Norwegian Tea Sternejsund (+1.08).

Poor performance in the giant slalom for the World Cup leader, Mikaela Shiffrin. The American was classified in 14th place in the home competition, with a difference of +2.08 from the leader. Then Sunday reserved the slalom competition, where the red-and-white skier stood out with her performance, marking her third seasonal podium in the World Cup. Lara scored a time of 53.68 in the first descent and 56.92 in the second descent, closing the race with a total result of 1:50.60, to be classified in third place with a difference of +1.85 from the winner Mikaela Shiffrin, who continues to dominate the slalom.

In second place was Germany's Lena Duerr, +1.57 from the leader. Meanwhile, in terms of the overall standings after the first four stages of the World Cup, Shifrin strengthens her position in first place. The American champion leads the standings with 368 points accumulated. Behind her come Lara Kolturi, in second place with 278 points, and Lena Duerr, who completes the top three with 224 points.
