The Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka, has reacted again to police violence during today's protest by the Democratic Party.

In his statement, Noka says that by order of the narco-Prime Minister Edi Rama, the criminal gang tool placed at the head of the State Police, Ilir Proda, has given an open order for violence, terror and arbitrary arrests against innocent Albanian citizens.

Full statement

Today, the State Police has committed a serious and unprecedented act, exercising brutal violence against free citizens, including police officers, women, and a 10-year-old child.

Such acts today only occur in Iran, in a regime that is dying. This is the true face of a regime that does not govern, but rules; that does not enforce the law, but uses the police as a rubber baton against the people.

These are typical methods of authoritarian and criminal regimes that, when they feel threatened, strike at citizens and intimidate society. But the opposition people are not afraid, they do not submit, and they do not remain silent.

They will confront us every day, in every institutional and democratic way, until the eradication of this criminal regime. Like his boss, Edi Rama, Ilir Proda has also avoided leaving office and going to prison.
