One of the Albanians of the diaspora, who is traveling from England to Albania to join tomorrow's protest, has denounced the blockade of the motorcade in Montenegro. In a statement to News24Fatjon Muçaj said that he has been blocked at the border crossing in Niksic for about four hours, without, according to him, receiving any explanation for the reason for the detention.

"We have been blocked here, about 30 cars, in Montenegro, in Niksic, for 4 hours. We have not been given any information about why we are blocked. The Montenegrin authorities are under orders, and by whom were they ordered? Except for Edi Rama, because we are coming to protest," he said.

The Albanian indicated that several vehicles were stopped and that other members of the convoy chose different border points in order to avoid blockages.

"There are some cars that have been stopped. I don't know, there are a lot of us. So some of us have chosen different border points, so as not to get blocked," he said. He said the reason for his departure from Albania is related to the lack of opportunities and he sought a place where employment is based on skills and not connections.

"We want a fair democratic country, where you find work through skills and not between money and friends. That's why I left. Most of my friends, who went to school together, have graduated and haven't found work," he declared.

While waiting to receive a response from the authorities about allowing him to enter Albania, he said that no obstacle will stop him from participating in the protest. "But in no way will Edi Rama stop us from entering our country. We will continue, we will follow illegal routes. We will enter and come to the mountains. We have fled with dinghies and trucks towards England, not to Albania anymore!", he said. The diaspora is expected to join tomorrow's protest in Tirana.
