MEXICO- The mayor of San Miguel Amatitlán, a town of about 7,000 people in southern Mexico, was killed by gunmen in an attack on Saturday, local authorities announced.
According to the Oaxaca prosecutor's office, the victim, Joel Angel Bravo Martinez, died during an "armed attack." Authorities have not yet provided details on the circumstances of the incident or the identities of the perpetrators.
