A total of 27 ships have been forced to change course or return to Iranian ports as a result of the naval blockade imposed by the United States on the Strait of Hormuz, one of the most important routes for global oil transport.

According to the United States Central Command (CENTCOM), the measure applies to all ships, regardless of their flag. In a video released by the command, a direct warning is heard for any naval vessel intending to enter or leave Iranian ports.

"If you attempt to break the blockade, we will resort to the use of force," the message broadcast by US authorities said.

CENTCOM emphasizes that each ship will be subject to detailed checks and inspections, while the blockade will remain in effect until a final agreement is reached with Iran.
