Once part of Juventus, Giacomo Vrioni was considered one of the greatest talents in Albanian football, as the future of the national team, but his career took an unexpected turn by disappearing from major football.

After 4 years in the MLS, the red and black striker returns to Europe, with Cesena making his transfer official. Giacomo Vrioni comes on loan until the end of this season, with an option to renew for another year. Vrioni will wear the number 22 shirt.

At Cesena, Vrioni also finds another Albanian striker, Cristian Shpendi, both of whom are expected to form Cesena's offensive unit with a clear objective, to return the team to Serie A.
