The Lezha Police structures have launched a focused action against luxury vehicles circulating in the city, with the aim of verifying their origin and discovering assets of criminal origin. As part of this operation, the Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation services, in cooperation with the Special Operational Force and the Road Police, have blocked a luxury vehicle of the “Rolls-Royce” type.

During the verifications carried out on the ground regarding the history of purchase, sale and possession of the vehicle, the police found a complete lack of official documentation. For this reason, the administrative blockade of the “Rolls-Royce” vehicle was imposed, while the materials were passed on to the relevant structures for the launch of a property investigation against its owner, a citizen with the initials FM, residing in the United Kingdom.

The Lezha Police announced that these joint checks will continue in the coming days on luxury vehicles, with a focus on cracking down on laundering the proceeds of crime and preventing the trafficking of assets obtained from criminal activities.
