The civic resistance against the government has marked another powerful night, concluding its 40th consecutive day of non-stop protest in the capital with a massive march.

After standing for several hours in front of the Prime Minister's Office building, where activists and ordinary citizens articulated their accusations through harsh speeches, the protesters moved on foot, crossing the main axes of Tirana.

The long column of citizens initially marched towards the 9-story area, then continued along "Zogu i Parë" Boulevard, "Fortuzi" Street and Durrës Street, paralyzing traffic and attracting the support of residents at windows and sidewalks.

This evening too, the march, showing no signs of fatigue, was accompanied by powerful choruses and chants from hundreds of participants demanding the overthrow of the political caste. "Rama resigns", "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison", "Your end has come", and "O Erjon, o legen, wait for Rama, he is coming", were some of the main chants that rang out in the streets of the capital.

At the end of today's action, the protesters gave a clear and firm message: the cause will not die down and the rallies will continue every day without any setback, until their non-negotiable demand, the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama, is met.
