Analyst Mentor Kikia has analyzed the protest that has been taking place for 11 days in Tirana, while revolts have also erupted in places where Albanians live around the world.
In a Skype connection for the “Lunch Program” in News24 with journalist Ola Bruko, Kikia said that the protest is on the path to revolution.
"There are many factors that influence this massiveness. What is important is, let's say, the citizenry that permeates the development of this protest. It is not about a target population, such as youth or farmers. It talks about everything and nothing concrete. Everything is focused on the departure of the government. This means a very significant fact, that even if you have to negotiate with an individual or a group, who are exposed tomorrow as official representatives, it will be difficult for you to determine the issue with which you will negotiate. Participation is not only the environmental issue, Zvërnec, because that was symbolic.
