A citizen participating in the protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office has once again demanded the government's resignation, referring to the statements of the US State Department regarding the situation in Albania.

During her speech to the protesters, she focused on the issues of organized crime, corruption and lack of transparency, which according to her have also been highlighted in international reports. The protester said that the reports also mention the increase in crime, problems with corruption and impunity. She stated that citizens have been protesting for 59 days with the demand for the removal of the government.

"The end has come. The State Department issued a statement on July 27. I wanted to stop at a few points; Albania remains a country where increased care is required for organized crime. Criminal organizations are involved in international trafficking and money laundering. Crime increased by 7%. Corruption and lack of transparency remain a problem. Impunity remains a serious problem. We have been saying for 59 days that the narco-government falls when citizens overcome fear! So we say; resign! August will fill this square even more!", she said.
