Manchester City are the second finalists of the Carabao Cup. Pep Guardiola's team left Newcastle no chance, beating them 3-1 in the return leg at the Etihad and progressing 5-1 on aggregate.

In the 6th minute, Omar Marmoush opened the scoring, immediately setting the tone for the match. City completely dominated the first half, with Marmoush scoring again after the ball was not cleared by the "coal" defenders, while Tijjani Reijnders scored the third goal before the break, practically sealing the qualification, after a superb first half by Pep Guardiola's team.

Newcastle had a few chances, but goalkeeper James Trafford proved decisive, with every mistake being punished by the home side. In the second half, Anthony Elanga narrowed the deficit with a beautiful strike, but it was just for statistics.

Manchester City calmly managed the match and secured the 10th final in this competition, where on March 22 at “Wembley” they will face Arsenal, who eliminated Chelsea in the semi-finals in the London derby. Happy at the end of the match appeared Spanish coach Pep Guardiola: Playing 5 finals in the last 10 years in the Carabao Cup is not a small feat. I want to compliment the boys for achieving this objective. The final against Arsenal? It will be a beautiful challenge but at the same time very difficult. They are one of the strongest teams in Europe right now.
