The Los Angeles Clippers have declared an open battle with the NBA after one of the heaviest sanctions in league history.

The team has been slapped with a forfeiture of five first-round draft picks and a $30 million fine after an investigation revealed serious violations related to Kawhi Leonard's salary cap. Owner Steve Ballmer has been suspended for a year, while Kawhi Leonard has been fined $700 but not suspended.

The Clippers have called the NBA's findings biased and have threatened legal action. The club claims the investigation was not conducted impartially and will vigorously contest the sanctions.
