The Director General of the State Police, Skënder Hita, has provided details about a Greek police operation against cocaine trafficking from Colombia, where an Albanian is among those arrested.
Hita stressed that Albanian authorities, for their part, are investigating this case.
"We have had a real-time exchange of information with our Greek counterparts. They have informed us of an operation in Athens, where they have seized a quantity of cocaine and arrested several Albanian citizens."
Among them is a person wanted by Albania, convicted of murder, with high risk, but since the information is confidential I cannot make his name public. We have continued verifications in all the parts that concern us, starting our investigations regarding this case involved in this criminal activity", said the Director of Police, Skënder Hita.
