Colombia marched into the round of 16 with a 1-0 victory over Ghana. The Latin American team dominated the match from the start and, thanks to Arias' goal in the 14th minute, found it easier to control the match.

On the other hand, Ghana, whose starting lineup included former Skënderbeg player Quasi Sibo, tried to put the ball in the net, but it was clear that they lacked players who could make a difference in attack.

Colombia managed the game well and although they did not find the second goal they came close to several times, they enjoyed a 1-0 victory that secured their passage to the next round of the tournament where they will face Granit Xhaka's Switzerland.
