On the 18th day of the massive resistance in front of the Prime Minister's Office, the voice of protest has gone directly to the sector most affected by the economic crisis, honest Albanian business.
During speeches held on the "Martyrs of the Nation" Boulevard, one of the protesters issued a call to all entrepreneurs who are being fined and bankrupted by the corrupt state fining system.
The protester has asked businesses for an act of solidarity at 19:00 PM tonight, closing down activities to take up residence on the boulevard.
With harsh tones towards the Tax Directorate, the speech pointed out how businesses trying to survive through honest work are being deliberately stifled by institutional corruption.
"I address the businesses of this country, you who work honestly, pay taxes and are bankrupted by corrupt taxes. Get up from your coffee and at 19:00 PM, in a sign of solidarity, lower your shutters and join us. If you don't join today, bankruptcy awaits you tomorrow. Only together can we change this rotten system to the core," he said.
According to the protester, the size of the crowd and the clarity of the cause have already panicked the leaders of power, indicating that the movement has reached a point where turning back is impossible.
"When the truth speaks so loudly, when the crowd is so large and the truth so clear, even the chairs start to shake. The Prime Minister is looking at us and his chair is shaking! The truth has emerged and no one can stop it, and only it triumphs," he concluded.
