SPAK has requested a 10-year prison sentence for Vis Berberi, accused of several serious criminal offenses, including abuse of office, passive corruption, violation of equality in tenders, and laundering of the proceeds of crime.
Journalist Klodiana Lala reports that, according to the prosecution's request, due to the application of the summary trial, the final sentence is expected to be reduced by a third. In addition to the prison sentence, a 5-year ban from exercising public functions has also been requested.
The Prosecution has also requested the confiscation of assets found in his possession, including 15 thousand euros, 35 thousand pounds, and 1 million new lek, along with other assets.
