A remote-controlled explosion with explosives in a vehicle was prevented yesterday evening in Vrina, Konispol Municipality. Citizen Mirash Gjikola, 57 years old, has notified the Saranda Police Commissariat that, at the place called "Kthesa e Vrinas", on the Shëndëlli-Vrina axis, he heard an unusual noise in his vehicle and, after stopping, he found a suspected explosive substance.

Numerous police forces immediately headed to the scene, while serious crime experts from the Vlora Local Police Directorate and the RENEA anti-explosives unit also arrived.

From preliminary information, it is learned that in the "Nissan" vehicle, with license plates AA 725 LG, a quantity of explosive material was found, placed in the back seat of the vehicle.
