Thousands of protesting citizens continued the kilometer-long march through the streets of Tirana for over 2 hours. After walking, they headed to Skanderbeg Square in the capital, closing the protest-march, the 20th in a row since the start of the revolt against Prime Minister Edi Rama and the government led by him.

For three weeks now, protesters have been gathering every night in front of the Prime Minister's Office, giving speeches, calling for Rama's resignation, and then starting a kilometer-long march in the capital. Citizens are demanding Rama's departure, as the revolt that began as dissatisfaction with what was happening in Zvërnec has now taken on nationwide proportions as an expression of dissatisfaction with the government.

Protest organizers announced the 21st rally on Saturday at 19:00 PM, again gathering at Skanderbeg Square, followed by a march towards the Prime Minister's Office.

Thousands of Albanians from the diaspora are expected to join this protest, as long columns of vehicles from various European countries, destined for Albania, have been published on social networks.
