After their success at Euro 2024, Spain is aiming for the top of world football and coach Luis de la Fuente does not hide his ambition. The “La Roja” coach stated that the Spanish team feels ready to fight for the triumph at the 2026 World Cup, ranking among the main contenders for the trophy.

The coach also confirmed that young talent Lamine Yamal will not be activated in the upcoming friendly match, but is expected to be ready for Spain's World Cup debut.
