The death toll from the accident in Andalusia, Spain, has risen to 45. Authorities have found two more victims during the investigation.
The victims were found in a Renfe train carriage, which had overturned after being hit by another private train coming from the opposite direction.
The expert commission has also requested information from Adif, the authority responsible for railway infrastructure in Spain, regarding traffic records in the Antamuth area for the two days before the accident, and will also carry out checks on the wheels of other trains that have previously passed through the same railway segment, the minister announced.
