Analysts Fatos Lubonja and Dritan Hila are involved in a debate on the "Open" show on News24, on the presence of Fredi Beleri at the electoral meeting held by the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in Himara.
Lubonja said that Rama is not a patriot after arresting Beleri 3 days before the elections while he has given away lands for his interests, as is the case with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and the island of Sazan.
While analyst Dritan Hila responded that there is no Greek minority in Himara, but the need for benefits from the Greek state is causing many Albanians from the northern areas to emigrate to Greece and convert to Northern Epirotes.
Below is the full debate
Fatos Lubonja: The one who arrested Beleri 3 days before the elections, he doesn't ask about patriotism. He gave the land there to Meloni.
Hila Light: He opposed the sea agreement. He didn't give Meloni land. He told Trump to give him land for a resort. I feel like a patriot too.
Fatos Lubonja: If you were a patriot, you would say that Rama has torn the country apart. Patriotism is the last refuge of villains.
Hila Light: Taking land has nothing to do with patriotism, it has to do with corruption.
Fatos Lubonja: That's why 1 million Albanians have fled. As a great patriot, this doesn't affect you, huh?
Hila Light: Let Berisha and 20 days to say this. Albanians have left every year since the doors were opened, 50 thousand Albanians
Fatos Lubonja: There is a minority in Himara.
Hila Light: There is no minority there, even Berisha called it a linguistic minority.
Fatos Lubonja: Enver Hoxha recognized that there was a minority there, and he built schools there.
Hila light: There are no Greek schools there, I guarantee that.
Fatos Lubonja: The basket that locked us in prison was made by Enver Hoxha, and we should not act as if we are in danger, as if Greece will take us away.
