More details have emerged from the scandal related to the perpetrator of the murder of the policeman in Maliq, Violand Braçellari, who it turns out had received subsidies from the state through the AZHBR for livestock breeding.
Journalist Lorena Kodra has provided for BalkanWeb official documents proving how, through applications from his family, the high-risk person and wanted by the police for 9 years, has benefited from state funds. Documents obtained by BW explain how his family members, specifically his father, Luan Braçellari, mother, Berdane and brother, Danil, have benefited from funds by applying to the AZHBR.

Yesterday morning, during a police operation to capture the wanted fugitive, Violand Braçellari, who was hiding in the cattle stables in a wooded area on the outskirts of the village of Lozhan in Maliqi, opened fire with a Kalashnikov at the police. The barrage of bullets killed officer Enea Mekolli on the spot and injured Edison Adri. Meanwhile, the perpetrator of the incident was injured, receiving three bullets, in the hand and in the ribs, and is being treated at the Trauma Hospital together with the injured police officer.
