Besmir Semanaj, an IT expert who came from the Diaspora to the Tirana protest, spoke at the lunch program, in News24, that even leftists are protesting against Prime Minister Edi Rama.
He said that activists have informed Western chancelleries about the situation in Albania, adding that internationals are changing their approach towards the Government.

In the protests we have organized in Vienna, both the left and the right are protesting. Citizens who are without a party, do not belong to any, citizens who have never even voted are protesting. Everyone has left their personal opinions and has united for a major cause, for the new Albania and the new system. Information has been sent to MEPs, embassies, governments and when these two pieces of information are compared, it is understood what the reality is in Albania, a reality that until yesterday was hidden, manipulated through official reports.
That is why the international approach to Albania is changing, the Government manipulated information. The opposition did not care about society, it was focused on 3 things, it dealt with the elections and forgot the rest. We only have three names with which Albanian politics revolves from 1990 onwards. Someone who loves Albania must come. We have him with the system. Without Rama leaving, the system will not change.
He also emphasized that there should be a term limit, adding that today, unfortunately, the country is in an autocracy. He also called for citizens to take to the streets en masse.
"The bricks that held it together are crumbling. Citizens are no longer afraid because they are understanding the reality of how Albanians are living. I was given an order from Austria to bring to someone, and it was medicine, and here you understand that nothing works. There are still those who are afraid, but they must unite in the square. There are hundreds of people who work in state institutions and were in protest, and many others must unite. They are worried because if they were not, they would not be going through personal attacks, or being intimidated in the workplace. We will continue in this way and their days are numbered. The crows and ravens will eat the last piece of the 34-year-old political cobweb. We are also protesting for the socialists to be freed from the shackles of a survival salary. So they must hold accountable not only this government, but also those who will come tomorrow. Albania is the only country in Europe that has had the same prime minister in recent years. There must be a limit mandates, they are turning us into autocrats as we unfortunately are today.
