As the World Cup approaches, it is unknown whether Iran will be part of this competition or not, due to the war situation. Ahmad Donyamali, Iran's Minister of Sports and Youth, recently spoke on this topic.

"We have held a discussion about the national team itself and its conditions, and we have also formed a committee. Today we have another meeting within the framework of this discussion and we are fulfilling our legal duties."

"We must be prepared. In any case, it may be decided not to go. And if it is decided to go, we must be ready for a strong performance. But the decision-making depends on the current conditions, on the government and perhaps the National Security Council," Donyamali stated.
