Diplomat Arben Çejku has promoted a novel in Tirana, where he deliberately replaces Mona Lisa with “Moma Lisa”, to exalt the figure of the mother. Under the title “The Cross of the Word”, the publication brings the life of a simple Albanian family, which faces trials. The author said that it is the history of Albania, where the question is raised: whether speech is free or is threatened with sophisticated methods.

A large part of the novel's developments take place in Paris, transforming the capital of light not just into a decorative backdrop, but into a living, integral element of the narrative.

The book combines the exaltation of the mother figure and the consequences and weight of suffering for the sake of freedom of belief and expression.
