A serious incident has been reported in the Piraeus area, where a two-year-old child was injured after being attacked by a dog.

According to information, the little girl briefly escaped her grandmother's attention and approached a dog, which then attacked her, biting her on the head.

Immediately after the incident, the child was transported under police escort to the Children's Hospital to receive the necessary medical assistance.

Meanwhile, authorities have arrested her grandmother, a Dutch citizen, on charges of endangering a minor. The incident occurred on the afternoon of Good Monday, April 6, and the full circumstances of the incident are being investigated by the relevant authorities.
