An Albanian student living in Italy spoke during the protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, comparing the support that students receive in Italy with the situation that, according to him, young people in Albania face.

"I'm a student, I live in Italy. There are scholarships there for those with low incomes, they provide assistance so that students don't have to leave Italy to work in another country," he said.

The student said that the country's problems are evident in several areas, citing health services, infrastructure, justice and conditions for children. "Those who live here know better what the situation is like in hospitals, with roads, with justice. I want to talk about the things that I have noticed myself," he declared.

He cited as an example the lack of water in the Kombinat area, where his family's house is located.

"The first day I arrived, in Kombinat, where we have our house, there was no water. If you're far from the center, you can't find a park for children," the student said.

Speaking about the safety and conditions where children play, he also mentioned the case of children in Durrës who, according to him, play on the streets due to the lack of suitable spaces. "We can make laws for road safety. But why were those children in Durrës playing on the streets? Because there are no spaces. Instead of going out to the garden to play, they play on the streets," he said.

The student also shared a story from his childhood, recalling a conversation with his father about potholed roads.

"When I was 4 years old, I asked my dad: 'Why is the road so potholed?' He said: 'I don't know, ask Sali Berisha,'" he confessed.

Finally, the student called for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and addressed Albanian emigrants who are expected to come to Albania. "On this occasion, I call for the resignation of Rama," he declared, adding that emigrants should use their return to Albania to join the protest.

"I have seen enthusiasm for the dates 14-16, which are said to be coming from the diaspora. I call on immigrants to come, to have fun, but also to come to this protest," said the student. He also called on Albanian citizens and students to come out to protest. "I call on Albanians to join the protest. The diaspora does not protest, it will find it among you. I call on Albanian students to come out to protest, not to sit in cafes and play PlayStation," he concluded.
