A powerful fire engulfed a building near the QSUT in Tirana yesterday, causing significant material damage.

This morning, after the flames were extinguished, images show a serious situation, where the facade of the building has been almost completely burned. According to preliminary information, it is suspected that around 30 apartments were engulfed in the fire, while the exact balance of damages is expected to be determined during the day.

Authorities and emergency teams continue to work on the ground to fully assess the situation and determine the causes of the fire.
