The city of Rrëshen will not be supplied with water at night for several weeks, due to the decrease in flows from the Bargjanë spring. The decision was made by the Mirditë Water Supply and Sewerage Service Unit, which announced that the water supply has been interrupted since August 31, with a time interval from 23:00 to 05:00 in the morning.

According to the Water Institution, the restriction comes as a result of the prolonged drought and will be implemented for better management of reserves, so that the water supply is not interrupted during the day.

The citizens of Rrëshen have expressed outrage over this decision, as many of them do not have tanks and water supply at night is necessary.
