An injury within the family occurred in the early hours of this morning in the city of Durrës, where a woman was injured as a result of an attack with a cutting tool by her husband.
According to preliminary information from the police, the incident was recorded in neighborhood no. 16/1. It is suspected that during a conflict for weak motives in the premises of the apartment, citizen Xh. K., 40 years old, stabbed his wife, citizen EK, 32 years old.
After the incident, the 32-year-old was immediately transported to the hospital, where she is under the care of doctors for treatment of her injuries.
The suspected perpetrator has fled the scene. Police services have declared citizen Xh. K. wanted and are conducting intensive searches with the aim of locating and capturing him.
The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues to work to clarify the circumstances and fully legal document this event.
