An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.2 on the Richter scale was recorded on the island of Crete at 10:21 this morning.
According to seismological data, the epicenter of the tremor is located in a marine area about 19 kilometers southwest of Goudoura, in the Lassithi region, Greece.
The earthquake's focal depth was estimated at about 8.6 kilometers, classifying it as a relatively shallow earthquake. So far, no damage or injuries have been reported.
