A strong earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale struck the Philippines on Monday afternoon, at 14:09 p.m. local time.
According to data from the Euro-Mediterranean Institute, the epicenter of the earthquake was recorded about 4 kilometers east of Sulati, while the focal depth was estimated at 33 kilometers.
So far, no major damage or casualties have been reported, but local authorities continue to monitor the situation due to the possibility of aftershocks in the area.
