An earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale was recorded on Tuesday morning, January 20, in the Laconia region of Greece.
According to preliminary seismological data, the focal depth of the earthquake was about 22.6 kilometers, while the epicenter of the tremor was located 117 kilometers south-southwest of Gerolimena, in Laconia.
So far, there have been no reports of material damage or injuries, while authorities continue to monitor the situation. The tremors were also felt lightly in surrounding areas.
