In a statement to the media, DP leader Sali Berisha has harshly attacked Prime Minister Edi Rama, stressing that he is in political free fall. “Albanians should trust only their hearts,” Berisha said, adding that Rama is ready to break any law to get votes, but is now hopeless in the face of the verdict of the citizens.

Berisha said he was received with great respect in every corner of Albania he visited, while he described his political opponents as "forcibly recruited mercenaries from Tirana and other regions, like soulless figurines."
