A title in “El Clasico” always has a special flavor, Barça “broke” Real 2-0 and mathematically secured the 29th title in La Liga, right in front of their eternal rivals, a title that will be remembered for a long time by the Blaugrana fans. Hansi Flick’s team totally dominated this edition in Spain, this is also confirmed by the figures, where 3 weeks before the end of the regular season they created a distance of 14 points with Real. For Arbeleo’s team and for Real fans this was the last scenario they could avoid, but they could not achieve this either, closing a completely failed season in every aspect. For the second time in a row, Barça manages to defend the title in La Liga, something that had not happened since Lionel Messi was on the field.
Hansi Flick's team solved everything in the first half, more precisely within 18 minutes, with two very beautiful goals. Initially in the 9th minute it was Marcus Rashford who executed a perfect free kick, causing the fans to explode in celebration. In the 18th, Dani Olmo gave a super assist to Ferran Torres with the latter scoring the second time. With Real powerless to get back into the game, Barcelona calmly managed the rest of the "El Clasico" making them celebrate with the trophy in their hands at the end. This was a very special evening for Hansi Flick as well, since earlier, his father had passed away.
Through tears, Flick greeted the fans, dedicating this special trophy to his staff, the president, the players, but also to his father: "I will never forget this day. It was a difficult day for me, because my father passed away earlier. This team is like a family to me, they give everything, always. We played very well, we scored at the right moments and we defended carefully", said Hansi Flick through tears and in front of the fans.
