The three people injured in the shooting that occurred this evening in a bar in the city of Elbasan have been identified.
According to preliminary information, at around 20:30 p.m., on the veranda of a bar in the "Vullnetari" neighborhood, an unidentified person fired a firearm, a pistol, at three citizens:
•Armand Tomorrica, 32 years old;
•Renaldo Mance, 31 years old;
•Bjorgi Hoxha, 19 years old.
As a result of the shooting, the three young men were injured and transported to the hospital, where fortunately their lives are out of danger.
At the time of the incident, an off-duty police officer was inside the bar, and as soon as he heard the shots, he immediately came out and started chasing the perpetrator.
While leaving, the perpetrator threw away the firearm, which was seized by the police, but managed to escape deep into the neighborhood.
Numerous police forces have surrounded the area in a wide perimeter and intensive checks are continuing to locate and capture the perpetrator.
Meanwhile, the investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is carrying out procedural actions at the scene of the incident, with the aim of fully clarifying the circumstances of this assassination, seizing material evidence and identifying the perpetrator. Investigations are ongoing.
