Eric Trump has publicly unveiled his new commemorative passport, created in honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States of America, which features a large portrait of his father, President Donald Trump.

In a video posted on the social network X on September 2, 42-year-old Eric Trump showed followers the new document, expressing enthusiasm for its design.

"Look what just came in the mail. A new passport," he said, before opening the document and showing the inside pages.

The commemorative section of the passport features an illustration of Donald Trump, with the president leaning forward, both hands resting on a table. His signature is placed above the image, while “United States of America” is written below. The portrait is based on a photograph of Trump exhibited at the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery in Washington.

"I like it very much, I'm giving it away," said Eric Trump, Donald Trump's son.

The restricted passports were first announced in April as part of preparations for the 250th anniversary of American independence. According to the US State Department, they are a limited number of documents designed specifically for this anniversary.

Officials have said the passports will feature artistic elements and personalized images, while maintaining the same security features as regular U.S. passports. The price for this commemorative version will not be higher than that of a standard passport.

The passport design has undergone several changes since its initial introduction. In a June post on Truth Social, Donald Trump posted an updated version of it and wrote: “The new US passport, which says: ‘Welcome, but behave!’ President DJT.”

Another notable change is the president's signature. In the version initially presented, it was gold, while in the new version it appears in black.

The passport isn't the only American document that's been changed as part of the 250th anniversary. The U.S. Department of the Interior has also announced that Donald Trump's portrait will appear on annual passes for entry to U.S. national parks.

Even the "America the Beautiful" card, intended for American residents, is linked to the 250th anniversary celebrations and features portraits of Donald Trump and George Washington.
