President Bajram Begaj has conveyed a message on the occasion of Europe Day, praising the European Union project as a project built on peace, security, democracy, prosperity, solidarity and freedom.
In his message, Begaj emphasized that this day is also a moment to honor all those who contributed to the construction and realization of the European project.
"Today we celebrate Europe Day and honor all those who built and made a reality the European Union project, which has peace, security, democracy, prosperity, solidarity and freedom at its heart," the Head of State writes.
The President also focused on Albania's European journey, emphasizing that the country is closer than ever to membership in the European family. "Albania is today closer than ever to being part of the European family, ready to add its energy and values to the European project," he said.
