The village of Obot, in the Shkodra region, has been completely isolated due to flooding, as water has covered the main roads. Currently, not even army vehicles are able to pass through, making movement to and from the area impossible.

The only means of communication and transportation for residents remains by boat. Residents say the situation is extremely difficult and that their daily lives have been paralyzed by the water that has invaded everything.

Residents of Oboti report that the damage to agricultural lands is extensive, emphasizing that the floods have destroyed crops and are endangering the main source of income for many families. According to them, the flood was caused by discharges from hydroelectric power plants, which has made the road impassable and entire areas of land under water. Currently, the flooded area in the Shkodra region is estimated at over 1 hectares, while authorities are monitoring the situation and assessing the damage caused.
