The Special Prosecution Office, SPAK, has seized the assets of suspects such as the leaders of the AKSHI criminal group, Ergys Agasi, Mirlinda Karçanaj and Ermal Beqiri, as well as several other suspects.
The show "Në Shënjestër", with author Klodiana Lala, on News24, published details from the SPAK action, where it is learned that 29 seized assets belong to Ergys Agas, which include apartments, villas and land in preferred areas of Tirana and Durrës, seven bank accounts and the company AE SOLUTION.
Ermal Beqiri has had 10 real estate assets seized, including a luxury yacht, the accounts of the company "Soft&Solution", 8 vehicles and Beqiri's own accounts.
Meanwhile, the companies "FIRST" of Gëzim Hoxha; "Fasttech" and "Fasttech&Fresh" of Andis Papas, and "Albascan" of Elision Jorgjis have had their funds blocked.
Ergys Agasi and Ermal Beqiri, according to the Prosecution, ordered the kidnapping of rivals and, under threat, forced them to withdraw from tenders at AKSHI.
The former director of the National Agency for the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (NAPS) has had three apartments seized in Tirana and Qerret i Kavaja, which are suspected to be hidden assets of former NAPS director Mirlinda Karcanaj, disproving the prime minister's claims that the former senior official lives in rent.
Karcanaj is suspected of being part of the group led by Ergys Agasi and Ermal Beqiri, whose companies he fed with the institution's tenders.
Edi Rama defended his confidante Mirlinda Karcanaj while declaring that she lived in a rented apartment, but SPAK investigations have revealed 3 apartments, two of which are in Tirana and one in Kavaja Square.
These assets of the former director of AKSHI, who is suspected of being part of the group led by Ergys Agasi and Ermal Beqiri, whose companies she fed with the institution's tenders, have been placed under seizure.
SPAK has also decided to seize 9 bank accounts in the name of the former senior official, as well as a vehicle, as they are suspected of stemming from corruption.
