Yesterday SPAK seized 40 million euros belonging to Ergys Agas's group, including assets belonging to the businessman himself, as well as those of the former director of AKSHI, Marlinda Karçanaj and Ermal Beqiri. In a live link to News24, journalist Klodiana Lala, reported details from the SPAK action, in cooperation with the police, where it landed at "Equos Resort" because Agasi has several villas built without permission there. According to SPAK, there were plans to build other resorts with crime figures. Land owned by Agasi, the most wanted and talked about man in Albanian justice at the moment, has also been blocked. According to Lala, the documentation claims that this land located in the Farka area was purchased for 6 euros per meter, a ridiculous price, considering the real value in this area. Agasi, together with Beqiri, are considered leaders of the criminal group that blackmailed and took businessmen hostage by withdrawing from tenders in the National Agency for the Economy. SPAK has seized and claims that they are the product of crime and a series of expensive wines at Equos Resort.
Police forces are near this resort to make the decision to seize assets while construction continues for a villa that will have to be controlled by the relevant institutions, while it is alleged that it was being built without a permit. Among other things, Lala reported that SPAK has seized the property of the former director of AKSHI, Marlinda Karçanaj, 2 apartments in Tirana and a caravan.
"The Prime Minister of the country, in order to relativize the activity of this group in Tirana, stated that Karçanaj lived in rent, although in an Air Albania building. Mrs. Karçanaj disposes of several assets through third parties. Mrs. Karçanaj's driver has provided details of where she lived. SPAK also claims that Karçanaj received 200 thousand euros in bribes, placed in bottles to avoid suspicion due to the position she held in the ANA. It turns out that she lived in low rent, but the facts have shown that she had given this property to Agas at a low rent in a matter of honor. But it is thought that it is disposed of by Karçanaj himself. Meanwhile, Agas's assets and bank accounts have been seized. This is the second blow that SPAK, which is suspected of being led by Agas, has made. Not only Geron Meçe, other citizens are suspected of being taken hostage. And an Albanian-German citizen is suspected of having paid 2.5 million euros after being pressured and blackmailed from this group," said Lala.
