Famous singer Celine Dion has announced six new concerts in Paris, following the incredible interest in her September and October shows.
The new dates are September 18 and 25, as well as October 2, 9, 16 and 17, adding to the 10 shows already confirmed at La Défense Arena, a 40,000-seat arena.
Pre-sale began on Tuesday, April 7, at 10:00 AM and registrations exceeded nine million, marking an extraordinary success for the singer's return to the stage.
This comeback comes after a long hiatus caused by the pandemic and then by Dion's health issues. In December 2022, she revealed that she had been diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome, a rare neurological disorder that causes muscle stiffness. Her battle with the disease was documented in the 2024 film "I Am: Celine Dion."
Dion's last concert was in New York City in the spring of 2020, and now her return to Paris marks a significant moment for her fans in Europe.
