Facebook and Instagram faced technical problems on Sunday morning, leaving thousands of users around the world without access to their platforms.
According to data from the Downdetector website, reports of outages began to increase around 09:30, while users reported being unable to log into their accounts, load the homepage, and use basic social networking functions.

Many users who attempt to access Facebook through a browser receive the message: "Account Temporarily Unavailable," indicating that there is a technical problem with the platform.

Meanwhile, mobile apps are opening normally for some users, but content is not refreshing and new posts are not loading. Messenger is also affected by the outage, while WhatsApp appears to continue to function normally.
To date, the Meta company has not issued an official statement on the cause of the problem or the timing of the full restoration of services.
