Today marks the 47th day of the civic protest, which for more than a month and a half has turned the boulevard in front of the Prime Minister's Office into the epicenter of the revolt against the government of Edi Rama and the entire political class. After marching from Skanderbeg Square, citizens stationed themselves in front of the Prime Minister's Office, where they demanded Rama's resignation and gave clear messages for a new Albania.

After almost two hours of speeches, the protesters began the march on the Boulevard, while chanting 'Rama, resign', 'New Albania', 'Revolution', etc.

What started as an opposition to the project in the Zvërnec protected area has now transformed into a civic movement with a much broader agenda.

Every evening, citizens from Tirana and various districts of the country gather first at "Skënderbej" Square and then march towards the Prime Minister's Office, where speeches are given and the demand for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and radical changes in the political system is repeated.

Even in the 46th protest, citizens declared that there will be no retreat and that the resistance will continue until its objectives are achieved. From the podium in front of the Prime Minister's Office, it was emphasized that the revolt is no longer only against the government, but against the political model that, according to the protesters, has held the country hostage for more than three decades.

The messages last night focused on the continuation of the protest, the role of young people in this movement, and calls for even greater participation in the coming days. Protesters said there would be no rest and that the rallies would continue every day, considering this a civic battle for change.
