Skopje is set to welcome one of the biggest music and entertainment spectacles ever organized in the region, as global superstar David Guetta comes to Macedonia with his revolutionary stadium production, The Monolith Tour, for a historic celebration on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Macedonia's independence.
The event will be held on September 8, 2026, on Independence Day, at the Todor Proeski Arena with a capacity of over 50.000 people and will represent the central national celebration of this important jubilee, combining music, emotion, technology and unity in front of tens of thousands of spectators.
Renowned worldwide for revolutionizing electronic music performances, The Monolith Tour is David Guetta’s newest and most ambitious live concept to date – a futuristic stadium experience built around monumental stage architecture, immersive visuals, synchronized pyrotechnics, cinematic lighting and next-generation audio production. The show has already garnered global attention for its massive scale and unique visual identity, transforming stadiums into fully immersive audiovisual arenas.
Following overwhelming demand across Europe, The Monolith Tour will gather incredible audiences in some of the continent's biggest cities, including three historic nights in Paris with over 80.000 people each night, a massive spectacle with 100.000 people in Milan and another unforgettable night in Amsterdam with more than 70.000 attendees, confirming the production as one of the largest stadium experiences of electronic music in the world today.
This spectacular event will be organized as a free public celebration, emphasizing inclusion and collective participation in the country's Independence Day celebrations. Due to stadium capacity regulations, entry will require pre-registration with a symbolic fee of 35 MKD per person (0.60€), directly reflecting the 35th anniversary of independence.
The event is expected to attract visitors from across the Balkans and Europe, positioning Skopje at the center of the international music and entertainment scene for an unforgettable night.
